A Marriage Made In Culinary Heaven!
In January, the Iron Bridge Wine Company joined a long standing Napa Valley tradition and celebrated our first annual “Pigs and Pinot” day. The event was so well attended that many guests could not get a reservation. Always looking to please we decided to give all of our great customers a chance to enjoy this marriage made in culinary heaven by having a “’Pigs and Pinot” weekend! The weekend of Friday the 19th of March through Sunday the 22nd of March, we’ll be highlighting two of our favorite things, pinot noir and pork in all its tasty varieties.
The chefs will create 6 great dishes that bear homage to the pig. The wine team, not to be outdone, will have 6 pinot noirs by the glass and several pinot flights.
Plus, they are offering discounts on all of those perfumed, voluptuous Pinot Noirs to go.
It’s the perfect opportunity to indulge in two of life’s great treasures.
Go hog wild and make a pig of yourself.
We promise to keep our snouts closed. Reservations can be made by calling the Bridge in both Columbia and Warrenton.
The Iron Bridge Guys go to the Races!
Many of you know that The Iron Bridge actually derives its name from a local hunt club. And this year we’re going home.
On Saturday March 20th, Rob and Steve Wecker will be tailgating with Steak, Lobster and great wines at The Howard County Iron Bridge race meet. We’ve reserved two tailgate spots on the rail and we’d like to take 40 friends along with us. Rob is legendary for his “Tailgating Prowess” and will be handling the food and wine. The setting is beautiful western Howard County and the start of the steeplechase season. We’re going back to where we got our name and we’re going in style!
Want to go along and be wined and dined like never before? Chances (for 2 people) are just $2.00 and we'll draw the names on March 7th. We'll put the names in a big wine bucket and announce the winners on the website that day. Profits go to the Autism Society of Howard County so enter as often as you like. Simply ask your server for a ticket to fill out and hope for the best.
